I recently heard a teaching by Brian Houston on being an uncomplicated leader. In this teaching I was reminded about how critical it is to have undivided loyalty. We should never get caught in the middle as to where our loyalties lie. Our churches deserve and require our 100% loyalty. What does loyalty look like? 1. Having Clarity In Your Call: Our churches need to be led by men and women who have a clear call of God on their lives. When we have clarity in our call- nothing can sway us from our mandate to build the Church.. Not our circumstances, not a tough season in ministry, not what others are saying... nothing! 2. Getting Under Authority: Next to having a clarity in your call, getting under our Pastor's authority is all about loyalty. Most Pastors (Senior Pastors) can sense when their church and staff members are in alignment with the vision God has given them for the church. Loyalty means getting under that authority and then fighting to protect it, seeing it through, and holding it high as your priority in ministry. 3. Forgetting About Your Name: Trust God with advancing you in ministry. Don't try to advance yourself. Too many times if we are not careful we can be pulled along by the temptation to make ministry about what "we" do and the gifts "we" have. Forget about your name and advance the name of Jesus, the Church, and your Pastor. 4. Taking Responsibility: Own up for what God has entrusted you with in ministry, both when your ministry is doing well and when it's not doing so well. When you make a mistake, own it! What would the Church look like if all across the world we had undivided loyalty? What does loyalty look like for you?
take extra time in rehearsal to humble ourselves and get under the anointing of God. spend hours brainstorming for our Weekend Services. hold our Praise Team accountable to a live lives above reproach so that what they singing matches what they are living. pour into our Worship Leaders so that they are refreshed and ready to lead our church. support my Pastor in prayer. have more than "leftovers" for my family when I get home. start planning our Christmas Services. invest into our band members and learn about the things they love. fight to keep 2 Campuses, 1 Church. carve out time to stay fresh creatively. But we cant build the Church and see God's Kingdom come doing what's "easier." Are we giving everything we got to serve our church. "Heart and Soul"

What a day this has been!!! Have you ever had one of those days that started out like the worst day of your life. Well, that was my day today at least i thought it was. I began my day with some discouraging news and had one of those hey God moments. You know when you say hey God what about me, what about me! I believe those moments are very important in our lives because it reveals to us what we really believe. Do i really believe God will take care of my needs or is it something i just say to people who need to hear it. As i began to make God aware of my problems, like it was news to him, i was reminded of the many many times God had already delivered me. One by one i could count each time God had been there for me. So, i decided to turn this “Hey God” moment into a “Trust God” moment. “God is so amazing”! By the end of the day God had showed me a miracle in my life. He had provided for us in way i would have never imagined. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to thy own understanding”. God is Great see ya bryan
